The B6353 Crookham to Ford Village (Ford Bridge) is expected to be closed from 12 January 2026 to 2 May 2026, with no access. This is to enable Northumberland County Council to carry out bridge inspections and refurbishment works. Details of the disruption can be viewed here

Norham Rideout 2025

The annual Norham Rideout will be on Monday 4 August, when a temporary traffic regulation order (TTRO) will be in place between 1730 hrs and 2100 hrs. The route of the cavalcade, which passes through Cornhill on Tweed and ends in Coldstream, can be seen here. There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO, as the road will be re-opened as the event passes through.
