Mindrum Farm Walk

The Footpaths Group had arranged to visit Mindrum farm in December last year, but the walk had to be cancelled because of the weather. It has now been rearranged for Thursday 7 March, starting at 10 am.

This is another chance to enjoy a five-mile guided walk around this mixed organic farm with Tom Fairfax who will be talking about regenerative farming and other developments since the Footpaths Group visited in 2019. Everyone is welcome, including well-behaved dogs on leads. For more information, see the poster on our Walks page.

It would be helpful to have some idea of numbers, so if you plan to come along please email the walks organiser or send a text to 07557 211 564. We hope you’ll be able to join us!

Next Footpaths Group Walk

The next walk organised by the footpaths group will be on Saturday 3 September 2022. This is a farm walk at West Learmouth, an 850 acre mixed farm that has recently converted to organic farming. Former pasture land has been planted with native trees, and former arable land has been planted with wildlife-friendly seed mixes as part of the process of converting it to regenerative pasture. The walk will be led by the farmer, Jasmin Moore. For more information, see the West Learmouth Farm Walk poster on our Walks page or call the footpaths group organiser on 07557 211 564. There is parking at the farm (NT 849377) and the walk starts at 1000 hrs. Everyone is welcome!
