Carham 1018 Conference

The Carham 1018 Society is holding a virtual conference on the afternoon of Sunday 15 November. Topics will include the recent archaeological and geophysical investigations at Carham, Carham and the Anglo-Scottish border, and Carham and the St Cuthbert connection. This conference was to have taken place earlier this year, but had to be postponed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Annual Assembly 2020

Carham parish’s Annual Assembly was held on 8 September. The meeting agreed the minutes of the previous year’s Annual Assembly, reviewed the Parish Council’s internal audit, and approved its financial accounting and governance statements and its certificate of exemption. Parish Council Meeting and Annual Assembly

The next meeting of the Parish Council will be on Tuesday 8 September 2020 at 6.30 pm in St Cuthbert’s church, Carham. The meeting will be followed by the Annual Assembly at 7.00 pm. You can find the agenda for both meetings on our Meetings page.

Parish Council Meeting

The Parish Council will be meeting on Tuesday 11 August 2020 at 6.30 pm in St Cuthbert’s Church, Carham. This is an Extraordinary Meeting with one agenda item, Goat Common/Allotment Gardens.

If you live or work in the parish, you are welcome to attend as an observer only. You will not be able to make comments. Please contact the Parish Clerk if you wish to attend.

Councillors and the Parish Clerk will be observing social distancing and hygiene guidelines, to manage the risk of potential Covid-19 transmission. If you attend the meeting, we ask you to do the same.
